Welcome
Brim (formerly known as Booby) is an application suite that allows you
to manage your personal items online.
Brim is written in PHP and is an opensource Webbased
Information Manager, with support for bookmarks,
calendar, contacts, notes, news, passwords and tasks and more.
April 15th, 2007 - Brim 2.0.0 released
Brim 2.0.0 has been released featuring a totally reworked (ajaxified) interface, less
plugins (focus on the following core plugins: bookmarks, contacts, calendar, notes, tasks and passwords)
and less templates.

Februari 15th, 2007 - Brim 2.0.0 pre 1 released
Brim 2.0.0 pre1 has just been released featuring a totally reworked (ajaxified) interface, less
plugins (focus on the following core plugins: bookmarks, contacts, calendar, notes, tasks and passwords)
and less templates.
January 7th, 2007 - Brim 1.2.3 released
This release is a minor upgrade, fixes some templates making them more w3c compliant
and preparing them for version 2.0 which will add ajax functionality to some of the plugins
(and will remove some other plugins from the base). Additionally, the Danish language has been added.
December 6th, 2006 - Brim 1.2.2d Security fix released
This release ads an additional check on the GLOBALS array. Make sure to use this version and not the 1.2.2 if you use "register_globals" (set to on)
December 5th, 2006 - Brim 1.2.2 Security fix released
Both the full and the lite version have reached version
1.2.2 which adds a fix for sites with
register_gloabls to on.
Additionally, the search functionality has been improved

Both the full and the lite version have reached version
1.2.1 which adds a fix for the problem where users
could see other users items by URL substitution
September 26th, 2006 - Brim 1.2.0 released
Both the full and the lite version have reached version
1.2.0 adding LDAP authentication support, lots of
improvements in the calendar and task plugins,
language updates and bugfixes
September 12th, 2006 - Brimfull 1.2.0pre3 released
Several bugfixes, lots of improvements in the tasks plugin as well
as several other smaller improvements. Some bugfixes.
Additionally, the Italian language has been updated
(tx to Luigi Garella).
August 10th, 2006 - Brimfull 1.2.0pre2 released
This release adds experimental LDAP authentication
(tx to Joerg Zissel) and fixes a critical PostgresSQL bugi as
well as a critical bug wrt PHP5. MD5 and Base64 en/decoding has been added
to the webtools plugin.
Additionally, the French language has been updated
(tx to Thibaut Cousin).

new experimental weather plugin as well as some
bugfixes in the calendar plugin.
